Comic-Con IS Mainstream
Seen last weekend in San Diego—at the mecca of all franchises, all genres in media and entertainment: examples of how OUR politics this year is INTO the culture, and the under-30s (not to globalize too much)
First off, for all you Battlestar Galactica fans...the only freebie giveaway handed out by street hawkers that I took, much less kept...
And then, almost inevitably...at the biggest T-shirt vendor (4 booths) on the massive exhibition hall floor ... (Count our own Lee Wochner as a proud customer) . Comic fans will note it is an actual *signed Alex Roth*!
